The way we deliver our training is changing so that we can keep you and our trainers safe.
In line with the government guidelines we will be taking the following measures:
Some elements of our courses will move online and be delivered via Zoom. You will be sent an invitation to join a Zoom meeting once we have received payment for your invoice. Each candidate accessing the meeting will need to log on individually - this makes it easier for us to see who is attending and to ensure the smooth running of the course.
Numbers attending the practical session will be kept to a minimum to enable social distancing and to allow candidates to each have their own mannequin.
All equipment will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly between courses, this includes new lungs fitted in the mannequins for every candidate. Hand sanitiser will be made available throughout the course.
Although it is not compulsory for you to wear a mask whilst attending the course, we would ask that you wear one when you arrive and when you leave the building. You may also wear the mask throughout the duration of the course if you wish - we will need you to remove it to demonstrate CPR.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. new persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change to sense of smell or taste) or have been told you should isolate, you must not attend the face to face training. Where appropriate, it may be possible to offer you an alternative date to complete your training. You can fiind full details of symptoms here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
If one of our trainers has symptoms or has been asked to self isolate, we shall endevour to cover the session for you. Where this is not possible, we will endevour to give you as much notice as possible and will offer you an alternative date to complete your training.
